It is rocket science!
Let’s learn about rockets in flight and the four forces that act on them: weight, thrust, and the two aerodynamic forces, lift and drag.
Kids will be:
- ★ making sled kites to learn about drag,
- 🛰 experimenting with a Pop Can “Hero Engine”, making, designing
- 🚀 launching a bottle rocket, and tracking its flight of our rocket with a homemade Launch Altitude Tracker.
Focus on Women in STEM : Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, Lillian Todd & Mary Jackson.
