The Science of Rainbows

This week we are making a homemade spectroscope and exploring the spectrum of different light sources. A spectroscope is an instrument used to split light into different wavelengths, which we see as different colours of the rainbow. Every chemical element on the periodic table emits its own spectrum or rainbow!
